Choose a Designer Who Asks Questions

Don’t explain the job description from the beginning to the professional in question.

Someone who wants to do a task for you must ask questions and reach a common understanding of your needs during your conversations. If you knew what you needed, you wouldn’t need to select a professional. You need a professional so he/she does the right thing.

If the web designer doesn’t realize or understand your needs, he/she will be eventually unable to do a good job for you and will not be able to help your business in getting the relevant online presence.

The web designer may carry out your project, but you may find out later that the result is not what you wanted and you are not satisfied with the money you have spent. The problem is that the designer hasn’t properly understood your business's needs.

The professional must understand your demands and identify your business's needs. Assume that someone has already designed a website for a restaurant and you own an automobile repair shop. You ask the designer to design you a website. If such designer lacks any special offer for your niche and doesn’t know that the customer for a repair shop differs from the customer of a restaurant, you shouldn’t work with this individual.
