Steve's Limousine Daydream
Steve began to daydream again and his mind wandered into a large building with a huge parking lot in front, full of many very expensive cars. Steve looked over several expensive vehicles: BMW, Rolls Royce, etc., and pointed to each of them. The car dealer smiled and commenced the paperwork. “Some excellent choices, Sir,” said the dealer. “Now, if you'll just sign here?” Steve moved to review the paperwork and picked up a pen. “Sure,” Steve said as he began to read the fine print of the deal. “Whoa, they're going to cost me how much?”
“Well,” began the dealer, cranking up his charm, “you're paying for the best, Sir. Oh, and let's not forget the taxes, tags, and auto insurance; you'll need all that too.” “Oy, maybe I should stick to something simpler,” Steve considered as Greg, dressed as a driver, pulled up in a very long limo. The dealer stepped toward the limo and waved a hand in the air like a game show hostess showing off the prize package. “Is this more what you were thinking of, Sir?” the dealer asked. Steve smiled and laughed. “Oh yeah!” The back seat area inside the long limo had seats, a TV, DVD player, radio, and a full bar, so Steve quickly climbed in, sat in back, and made himself a drink as Greg drove. Greg zipped around a corner, causing Steve to fall to the floor and spill his drink. “Easy there, Greg!” Steve shouted, trying not to spill his drink again.
He leaned over to get some ice, but Greg made another sharp turn, and the ice went everywhere. He tried to get to his feet but he slipped and slid across the black leather seats. He reached out to stable himself but grabbed a door handle and accidentally opened the door. The wind howled through the interior - papers, magazines and all manner of things flew every which way. A tumbleweed blew by in front of Steve's face. He struggled to close the door, slipped on the ice cubes, and tumbled out of the door and back to reality. “I think I better remember to wear my seatbelt,” Steve said.
