The Pitch at the Gallery and an Unexpected Business Card

Several rows of seats are set up facing a large TV screen. Twenty people sit in the seats, and Steve has his laptop connected to the TV. Among the group is Hillary James, a beautiful woman in her mid-40. Greg stands next to the TV and uses a laser pointer on the screen. Jan stands off to the side and watches.

In the center row, the millionaire we saw un-leash his dog now sits silently waiting for the presentation. He sits wearing sunglasses and playing with Steve’s chewed up iPhone6. Hillary continues to speak to Steve as Greg joins them.

Jan watches Steve and Hillary suspiciously. Hillary is being slightly flirtatious with Steve and says, “Well, gentlemen, I am impressed. Who was your design team?” “Team?” Steve asks. Greg says pointing at Steve and himself. “You’re looking at...them.” Hillary can’t believe it. She is pleasantly surprised. “You? You two guys.” “Well…” Steve replies, stammering. “It was a joint effort. Greg comes up with ideas, and I...
