Time, Place, Goal and Location: Four Questions Before Marketing

What is the proper time to hold the event? According to their topics and circumstances, many events can only be held during a certain time. If your event requires open outdoor space, the weather is a determining factor. You need to know how much time you have until the event and make plans accordingly. Some marketing activities need time to pay off. If you have less than a month to the event and you haven't been active on any social media platform so far, social media-based marketing is not suitable for you. Creating an account and increasing the number of followers take time.

Which place is most suitable? First investigate your event's requirements from various perspectives, and then choose a place which provides the resources you need. If the venue's access for audiences is not desirable, considering access options is a means to absorb the audiences. Event venues are usually reserved months in advance.

The second step is defining the goal of holding the event. Do you intend to gain profit and have more sales? Or are you focused on branding and gaining the event more recognition? Sometimes events are only held to develop culture in a specific area, and business goals are secondary. Depending on your goal, the method used to introduce the event can be unique.

In the third step, determine where your target market is located. Is it in the local area of your city or province, the entire country, or at an international level? This plays a significant role in both ambient advertising and online marketing. On social media you can show your ads to viewers based on location.

Write all this in a table, adding a column for each answer, and keep it in front of your eyes because it is an excellent guide for choosing the proper marketing and advertising methods.
