The Snake in the Dark Forest
The dreadful scene in which the branches were twisted and the roots wound against one another for years, a short winding rattle heard. Tom with open eyes watched every corner and expected an animal attack. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a huge snake winding upward a tree and looked at him. It could easily swallow him with a leap. In the lab everything became disordered. All were moving. If they let Nicole know it, the situation would be worsen, may be she knew something about it, Doctor Ben asked for being on the alert and wanted the engineers to see if it was possible to hunt the snake. They replied, they could do so but probably attacked in time the device coming out of the machine.
Doctor Ben appealed to them for help to give it strong lights by the cameras when needed to prevent the snake to see well. The cameras traveling only deviated the snake, but it disappeared before being hunted. Tom came to Nicole quickly and found her surrounded by the small animals. He got on the machine and covered the protectors. He closed his eyes, laughed and shot at them with a gun in his hand, they ran away. He removed the protectors by a remote control, grabbed her hands and felt calm.
