Ancillary Services: Counseling, Playground and Valet Parking

Many customers of venues are not professional event organizers, but they'll appreciate it if you offer to give the responsibility of their event's management to some of your employees. By being trained in management and event organizing, the venue's employees can provide event-holding services for a certain fee, or their services can be considered a discount for the customer.

Lack of professional event-organizing workforce is one of event organizers' problems. A rookie organizer both gets in trouble and makes trouble for you, but when you give consultation and provide the venue, these problems are avoided. When signing a contract with the customer, mention that you'll offer 10 hours of free consultation. This facilitates the process of attracting customers and results in higher standards in holding the event. Sometimes such an ancillary service's profit is more than the income from renting the venue.

One of the actions that can bring good reputation for you as venue owner is to include a playground for children. When such options are provided, visitors are assured that their children are playing while they are visiting the event. Doing this job is not hard, and you will be paid for it. It also makes you a family-friendly establishment, and many visitors will refer to you because of it.

You can also provide valet parking. This service is very popular and the customer will pay its cost. The valet attendant needs to be polite and well-dressed, respect the customers, and apologize in case of delay or any other problem. These are VIP services. If the service provider doesn't act professionally, the venue's reputation will be heavily damaged.
