The Presentation Room: Meeting Customers in Your Venue

Every company must own a presentation room. This room is specifically for introducing the company's services to the customers. Have an Internet connection and a large monitor, and keep in your computer all the presentations you have sent to the customer in a categorized order. Show pictures and videos while you are having the conversation. A single picture can be as expressive as hundreds of words.

Your presentation must be in two versions: brief and lengthy. By default, always start with a brief presentation and convey the message in three to five minutes using short sentences. Don't bore the audience with a long introduction. The more proper way is to pose questions and receive one-word answers such as yes or no. The longer version must be between 15 and 20 minutes, with 10 to 40-second short videos, and you should talk more with the audience and engage the other party.

When you are presenting, if the audience is not following you, you are losing the game. When they lose the thread of the conversation, they won't ask many of their questions, and in this case the conversation won't result in a deal. Have a rehearsal before the presentation, and have some key sentences to engage the audience.

Prepare proper refreshments in the room. All individuals must receive the best accommodations, no matter what services the customer will get from you. The setting a customer sees at first sight must be appealing and astonish the customer.

After this stage, bring the customers along and show them the venue. You know what kind of venue and services the other party requires, so when describing the resources, give explanations in line with meeting their needs. It will yield better results if showing the venue happens when a similar decoration is still on, because the customer doesn't need to use imagination.
